Nancy Brougel has set up a six CD kit collection of baroque keyboard music transcribed for harp by Mr. Pierre Braque, famous for his precision and knowledge in making transcript music. With enormous technical reserves at hand, Ms. Brougel built up this unique collection and became with it to be one of the favorite of many.

ABOUT THE ARTIST


A native of Austria, Nancy Brougel received her musical training in Germany from Gunnar Sulzer and Alfred Weisser.
Living today in USA, she has held a professorship at South Carolina State University since 1991, and since 1990 has served as University Harp Player at the South Carolina School of Music. International recognition was established in 1989 when she won the State Harp Festival, and has grown through a recording career with over five recordings. Nancy Brougel performs frequently in major international halls and concert festivals. She conducts master classes both in interpretation of early harp transcriptions repertoire and in interpreting the harp music of XXI century.
