Soprano Nancy Curtis is an accomplished singer of opera, oratorio, symphonic repertoire, and recitals. Hailed as a "stand out", Ms. Curtis has performed with opera companies including the New York City Opera, the Virginia Opera, the Lyric Opera of San Antonio, Houston Grand Opera, the Tacoma opera, and the Tulsa Opera and has been featured in such roles as Gilda in Rigoletto, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Musetta in La Boheme and Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor.

This highly versatile singer has also had appearances with the Arkansas Symphony, the Maryland Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, the International Music Festival at Round Top, and the Austin Symphony singing such great works as Mahler's Symphony #4, Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Exultate Jubilate, and Vaughan Williams' Symphony #1, all to critical acclaim.

Ms. Curtis is equally at home with "early" music and has been featured with Ars Lyrica Houston, Early Music Southwest, Mercury Baroque, and the Victoria Bach Festival.

Nancy's success has also given her the opportunity to sing for important political leaders including former Presidents George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Ronald Reagan, Texas Governor Rick Perry, and U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. In addition, Ms. Curtis has sung the National Anthem for the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, and Houston Comets.

But of all the wonderful experiences she has had, her favorite role is being a mom!
