Listen & be transported to many wonderful places!
author: Lyndee Stelling
You will sail across the sea with the haunting Arran Boat Song; journey to the misty Isle of Skye and the Isle of Inis Siar; and fly on the South Wind to Mayo, Ireland when you listen to this beautiful CD by harpist Nancy Davis. Her playing is as skilled as any Celtic harpist I’ve heard and her gorgeous arrangements are lush and full, but keep a traditional feel. The songs sound like you want them to sound…No Celtic with a flamenco twist here! Ms. Davis also provides background on each song in the liner notes, which I find adds to my enjoyment and understanding of the music.
In summary; this CD is beautiful & soothing and would be a welcome addition to your harp, Celtic, or relaxation music collections.

Great music, great inspiration
author: Jana Souflova, Prague (Czech republic)
I still listen this lovely CD again and again. For all who love to listen good harp music this is great choice as CD is very well balanced with not only slow poetical airs but also living tunes with great rhythm and feeling for atmosphere. For all who play harp, this is also great inspiration, because nancy's arrangements are rich but she let music breathe and there is still something new and interesting so you never get bored even you listen it hundred times. I listen a lot of harp music so I am a bit selective, but after long time, this CD really made me happy and enchanted. Some tunes even reminds me sound and feeling I had when I heard for the first time Stivel's famouse Renaissance of celtic harp - specialy in tune Eilean A'Cheo. And there are also my favorite heights like peacefuly flowing Inisheere, Fanny Power and of course funny "Jack Broke the Prison Door" and I really love entrace of "Burning the piper's hut"

The word wonderful doesn't describe how beautiful this CD is!
author: Nancee Button, harper
The word wonderful doesn't describe how beautiful this CD is. Nancy's ability to play and her creative arrangements are beyond anything I've heard in a long time. The harp is a very difficult instrument to record, however this recording sounds as if you are sitting in the same room as the harp. The songs range from lilting to fast paces syncopated rhythms which make you sit in awe of the harper's ability. You don't want to miss this CD. Buy one for yourself and all your friends for Christmas.
