"Get in Line" is the second country CD from Nancy Hays specifically designed for dance enthusiasts. The title track from Nancy's debut CD "Come Dance with Me" was a hit worldwide with dancers and was nominated in 2003 and 2004 for the Crystal Boot Award of "Best Beginner Dance of the Year" created by world famous choreographer, Jo Thompson. "Get in Line" contains two tracks choreographed by Jo, as well as nine other songs choreographed by other internationally recognized choreographers including Max Perry, Barry and Dari Anne Amato, Michele Perron (Canada), John Robinson, Robbie McGowan Hickie (UK), Peter Metelnick and Alison Biggs (UK) and Doug and Jackie Miranda. Step sheets for all the dances are available at nancyhays.com.
The music on "Get in Line" has been carefully selected with dancers in mind. The phrasing, beats per minute, intros and tempos make dancing enjoyable for all levels of experience. The songs were written by famous Nashville writers including Paul Overstreet and Mac McAnally and others. Nancy wrote the title track to the CD and co-wrote "Caribbean Two Step Tango" with her drummer Harold Sawyer who also produced the CD.
Nancy Hays is a veteran stage performer that has entertained from New York to California and Nashville to Las Vegas. In 2002 she performed her own show at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas during National Finals Rodeo. She has opened for legendary performers in country music including Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, Lee Greenwood, Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle, the Bellamy Brothers, Lee Roy Parnell, Mel McDaniels, Glen Campbell and Barbara Mandrell. Over the last several years, she has made appearances as a guest on network television shows promoting her dance and fitness products.
In 2004, Nancy performed at State Fairs and for many private events. In September 2004, she also performed for the American Legion at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville along with President Bush and Senator John Kerry, Marty Stuart, the Oak Ridge Boys and Dolly Parton.

I've never danced before but I might just start!

What can I say that hasn't been said already! What an excellent CD. I'm no dancer but when Nancy and her band start playing I feel myself wanting to join in. They make it sound so easy - and if you're no dancer, then just listen. What great country music.

Great CD! Keep the good danceable music coming.
author: Norm Gifford
Great CD! It is great to get music to dance to that is perfectly phrased and has a good strong beat. So many artists are only recording ballads and music with odd phrasing.
