Bruce the youngest of six started playing music when he was in the fourth grade back on the island of Maui with his Mother "Maui Mati". He spent many years entertaining the tourist throughout the islands. Through his career with his Mom he played at such resorts as The Hyatt Regency Maui, The Royal Lahaina Resort, Sheraton Maui, Kaanapali Resort, Intercontinental, Stouffers Waialea Beach Resort, and so many more including all the beautiful condominiums along the beach coast of west Maui. In 1986 Bruce went on tour with the group to Canada and Alaska playing at many sold out auditoriums through out Vancouver and in the Yukon Territory "White Horse" One of his hi lights was playing at one of the Worlds Fair venues in Vancouver!
One of Bruce's fondest memories is when he was able to sing with a group called "Sing Out Maui" which was a branch off of the group called "Up With People". This allowed Bruce to further his music career by singing with a larger band and with a traveling a group of 40 or more talented entertainers. Singing for Hotel Resorts and ocean liners like the Royal Viking, Princess Cruises, Mariposa, Monterey, Constitution and Independence. He was also on NBC singing for governor of Hawaii Ariyoshi during his inauguration.
Bruce moved to Las Vegas in 1993 and since has created his own group called Nanea. He has had the opportunity to play with different Halau and has played for many of the Las Vegas Resorts, Caesars, Stardust, MGM Grand, Flamingo Hilton, California, Fremont, Main Street, Paris, Rio, Bally's, Tropicana and the Las Vegas Convention Authority to name a few. He has teamed up with his friend and buddy Frank Corpuz to bring this CD together, Frank has written and composed five beautiful songs on this CD. This is one of the reasons this CD is so unique, "Not only do I have traditional Hawaiian music but I also have Frank's beautiful written music"
In July Bruce had the privilege to be in the Hana Hou magazine, the magazine of Hawaiian Airlines. He was on the front cover as well as in the magazine its self. The magazine was on every flight that Hawaiian Air flew for the months of June and July. This included not only the inter island flights but international overseas as well which consisted of hundreds of thousands of people.

I love the 'oldies' on the CD, but the new songs are impressive! I enjoy the CD so much because I'm able to sing along to many of the songs, old AND new. That's what makes a CD a hit for me.
