Album Notes
Small Town Thing has been described as “pure un-adulterated fun” and “ripped straight from the headlines of Small Town newspapers”. Though, I wouldn’t want to be from that town, a lot of people die in that town. Naomi’s lyrics range from heartfelt to hilarious and are wrapped neatly into catchy country melodies led by multi-instrumentalist Ben Benedict on telecaster and mandolin. You will like it. You may even really like it.

Though she grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa, Naomi has been living in Chicago the last 11 years as a writer and performer. Her solo EP, Love and Other Crap, was released in 2001. She is currently working on her third album to be released in December 2007.
