Album Notes

It all begins with music and art. First there was The Voodoo Tubes (1994) which turned into 90's seminal rock band The Napoleon Blownaparts. As an Indy act their body of work is an impressive one and the legacy continues to grow. New fans pop up out of nowhere on a daily basis. In 1998 The Blownaparts debut album entitled "Thrillbound" dropped and produced the mild active rock hit (DO YA LIKE MY HAIRCUT) and both US and European territories were buzzing on this new reckless movement. The hype was true and the music was fast and loud says "The Rev" of Clear Chanel Communications. Members of The Blownaparts crashed cars, got arrested, did drugs and committed suicide but the show went on. By 1999 the band vowed to clean up their act and return to support new material. And they did in a big way. By 2000 a leaner and meaner Blownaparts released "Land Of Hype & Glory" (Produced By Ajax Garcia / Daniel Daniel / Co-producer Ari Rios-Salt N' Pepa) and The Blownaparts dysfunctional family with road crew set out on tour supporting KISS. In 2001 they were still on tour and on being bills with WEEZER, and CRAZY TOWN as well as headlining their own dates across the USA meant larger audiences. It took 7 long years but CRISIS is finally here!
