Johnette has never had a problem sharing her thoughts with others through her writings and this solo effort is no exception. From beginning to end she never fails to make you feel something and, on more than a few tracks, she manages to touch a nerve or two. It's no exaggeration to say that Johnette has one of the most powerful voices in music but when you consider the power of the mind behind the words you are faced with a world changing LP.
