Bond was named one of the leading 20 Black Female audiences in the 2007 release of the book "I've Got Thunder" Black Woman songwriters on their craft. In 2007 Narissa was nominated for best folk artist of Hampton Roads by Portfolio Magazine.

Another Masterpiece

I have known Narissa Bond for years, after meeting her at several live performances of her first two albums. I fell in love with the sweet melody of her voice & the passion in her lyrics immediately, & have been eagerly awaiting the release of this third CD. She manages to use weave her own emotions & experiences into elegant and meaningful lyrics, while relaxing you with the sweet sounds of her guitar. Listening to this latest CD was like sitting across from her in a coffee, shop, smiling as she pours her heart out to us through song. My favorite tracks are "Three Words," & "Little Town," & just like her previous two albums, this one feels like a big hug from Narissa. Thank you Narissa, for sharing your passion & talent once again. Well done!
