Album Notes

The Nashville 9 is a nine-day, groundbreaking multimedia project that featured four friends — a songwriter, a screenwriter, an actor and a utility man — gathering stories from citizens in Nashville, Tennessee, and using those stories as the basis for a nine-song album and a nine-scene short film. Principal production for The Nashville 9 took place on November 1-9, 2008. The completed short film and album premiered March 19, 2009, at the Belcourt Theatre. This is that album!
The 9 artists are Benton Blount, The Champion and His Burning Flame, Red White Blue, Michael Logen, Meghan Kabir, Jaclyn James, Mean Tambourines, Kindercastle, and Denitia Odigie.
