notes

"George's SHop" of 2003 is the 7th official release of Natalie Farr since her debut in 1990. Farr is native of Georgia, USA and though she lives in New MExico, the Gothic Southern culture permeates "George's Shop" like never before. The dark country folk music of "George's Shop" reaches deeper into the unique sound and production style of Natalie Farr's recordings and the roots of her American South. Each song on "George's Shop" is a vingette. As the instrumentation resonates cello, guitar, banjo, piano and intense harmonies, the listener moves into bright resolve. The songs are melodic and beautiful yet haunting, a trademark of Farr's production. Thank you for your participation in the music as a listener! We are grateful for your interest and support.

I love this. I have Wonderin' that I bought in Atlanta and know this singer has a husky, sexy awesome voice and have seen her play live more than a few times. This is one of her best CDs to date that I've heard. It's a keeper for me, for sure.
