Poignant tales for the disaffected. Both refreshingly modern and disarmingly relevant. Sounds like Tori Amos and Joni Mitchell with a sense of humor.

Album Notes

Here's what some people have to say:

"Poignant tales for the disaffected. Both refreshingly modern and disarmingly relevant. In a sense, to listen to Riccio's album is to attend a cocktail party for the damned." (RMonK, Sputnik Music & Revolving Doors, LLC.)

"I love Natalie's Narrative Lyrical Style...like Joni's The Hissing of Summer Lawns..." (Derek Sivers, Creator of CdBaby.com)

"This joint right here needs to be on VH1...and da track needs to be on da radio" (A Random and Unknown YouTube commenter)

Her songs move from the introverted and dark to the laughingly satirical. She is lyrically clever, melodically moving, and vocally stunning. The physical album includes a complete lyric sheet.

Honest intelligence, with guts! The album has such variety and would be appealing to a wide range of listeners - pop, jazz and Broadway elements. Makes you want to hear Natalie live! Each song is a world of its own, telling a story close-up, sometimes at a distance. The arrangements are also killer. I highly recommend this artist and album!

Natalie's album made me cry, gave me goosebumps and made me laugh out loud. She has a gift of storytelling and a voice that feels familiar and new all in the same moment. I hope she keeps creating music that is worth listening to over and over again!

Wow! What a voice! This is the best thing I have heard in 10 years. Power, yet subtle. Funny and sad at the same time. A new artist who is still unjaded and fresh--unafraid to be who she is. Love it.
