Natalie Williams - Biography

Brought up in Germany and being of British Hungarian background soul artist Natalie has been virtually raised in and around music thanks to her jazz extremist father listening to the likes of Miles Davies, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.

Aged 15 and in secondary school, Natalie started to attend choir practice and vocal training. Seeing that her pupil had talent Jazz Tutor Marisa Turner encouraged Natalie to develop her voice. With this in mind Natalie set up a jazz quartet, which performed in secondary schools around Germany. Right out of high school Natalie was immediately drafted into the prestigious Guildhall School of Music.

Natalie has had an interesting career to say the least, having already collaborated with established figures such as Mark Hill of Artful Dodger fame, The Full Crew, Dan Marmolinera, Danny Foster and Ruff and Tumble.

April 14th 03 London's Jazz Café witness Natalie's solo showcase where she performed tracks from her debut album which includes tracks like 'Lazy Dayz', 'Yours Truly' and Private Party, all of which will be released as singles this year.

Having had such an influence of Jazz in her life Natalie Williams also performs at Nepal biggest Jazz festival in Kathmandu, which she has just taken her band there for the second year running.

Joining the new breed of sizzling hot, talented, artists she will definitely take the UK by storm with this special blend of Soul infused with RnB, Funk, and a touch of Jazz, the combination of sinuous melodies and inspirational vocals Natalie is definitely a star to watch out for in the future.
