Nate McDonough, as a true Artist feels the importance of capturing the essence of a song with natural tones and melodies he creates in a style all his own.

Raised in Springfield, Ohio Nate attended North High School along with the likes of Grammy Winner John Legend, Tim Murray from Methods of Mayhem and singer songwriter Griffin House ( Nettwerks). As they say in Springfield, it must have been in the water around that time, “So much talent from such a small town.”

Somewhere early on Nate remembers his father playing guitar and at age 13 he began playing. Winning talent contests, battle of the bands and one time wrote an instrumental in High School for Speech class instead of a verbal speech. Truly at heart he felt he was speaking to them and the class loved it. Nate began playing live in hometown bars and venues by the age of 15, and has traveled from New York to GA for performances.

With undeniable radio hits like “She’s Down,” “New Day,” and ”Another Night Alone.”
His music is creatively vibrant, collective and unique. Nate’s vocals and harmonies hypnotize listeners and move them with lyrics. Nate always leaves the crowd wanting more. His talent on guitar shines through on his recorded songs and his live show will tear you apart.

Along with label interest and constant touring, Nate has been asked to write for artists like: J Hall (universal Hollywood Distribution), Frickin A’ ( Toucan Cove ) was top 100 Billboard with a remake of Rick Springfield’s “Jesse’s Girl.” Nate has also been a fill in on guitar for John Legends brother “Vaughn Anthony.

Nate has been a featured artist on many internet podcast shows including: Audio Gumshoe, The Switched, U - Turn Café, and was featured in Cove Magazine as the first breaking and entering artist for 2008. The full length album " New Day" is receiving rave reviews from Magazines, News papers, and Station DJ's alike.
