Album Notes

This album is comprised of two songs that I have made over the last year. I actually first composed the first track, "Loving You," in 2004, but I decided to give it a 2009 make-over since my styles and abilities have changed much since then. I'm very satisfied with how this new version came out and I'm looking forward to seeing what people think about it. The other track "Take You Higher" was my first attempt at a more minimalist form of dnb. I almost always tend to have a chordal or harmonic instrument in the music I make, but I decided to give not having one a try. Because I felt that "Take You Higher" was not a strong enough song to be a single on it's own, I paired it with "Loving You" as the front-runner. This is my first EP and perhaps it might be my last. I enjoyed being able to release material in the same year as my previous cd, yet I don't quit feel as fulfilled as I did when I released longer, full-length albums. In any event, I am happy that I finally got around to sharing these songs with the rest of the world as opposed to having them just sit on my computer. I hope others will enjoy these songs as much as I do.
