Nate Sparks brings back old style country sound
author: Web Media Marketing
From Where I Stand is a wonderful traditional country offering that brings back the old sound I grew up with in the late 60s. On his debut CD, Nate used veteran performer and engineer Gary Carter to pull together all of the tracks. Gary is best known for fronting Faith Hill's performing band and his steel and dobro skills shine throughout the music. Nate's deep vocals remind one of a young Johnny Cash or Merle Haggard. All original songs, From Where I Stand reminds one of that older time when country stood apart from other styles and genres of music. The writing is wonderful and an all original offering from this artist. I would highly recommend this title for anyone still longing for "real" country music and for any young fans looking to hear how it should be done.

A True Classic
author: Garage Band
Oh jeez, I don't really know what to say. This music is so damn honest and from the heart. The acoustic intro set me up for his matter of fact crooning over his woman. He conveyed his love convincingly. I've heard enough country to know this is radio worthy material. Anyone can really relate to this, or should anyway. In fact each time I listen to it, it grows on me a little more. Very good tune.
