Album Notes

Dynamic, thought-provoking, and emotionally intense, Nathan Duprey's songs are crafted in a way that is at once intelligibly sincere and boldly satirical. With topics that range from adolescent insecurity to dreams of being a cowboy; from circular breathing to the neighbor's wind chimes, his songs are confessional, and delivered with the poise and charisma of someone who has a pitchfork behind his back and a halo in his pocket.

Beautifully lyrical & melodic, brooding meditations on love & loss
author: Nikita News
I love Nathan Duprey. The combination of his majestic piano playing skills with the hard-edged angst of his poetry makes for a very compelling, unique sound. His voice sooths while the music riles you up. This is the piano-playing singer-songwriter to watch for.

Rare Craft & Emotion
author: adam_G
When I heard Nathan sing "Ruberbaaaand" I was floored by his voice. The lyrics express intensity and moments of peace with deep emotion and sincerity. I find myself singing "The Others" incessantly whenever someone pisses me off, and I put "So Close to Heaven," "These Colors Red," and "Let It Go" on repeat when I go to bed. They are great to fall asleep to.
