The infuences in Native D-mand's music stem from the funky-jazz era of the 70's artists such as Donald Byrd and Roy Ayres, the eclectic moods and expressive guitar style of Carlos Santana, reggae legends like Burning Spear, Bob Marley the commercial greats of the 80's like Earth Wind and Fire, Shalamar, guitar bands like U2 right through to the current urban and dance genres. Native D-mands music always strives to inspire and uplift. ' Mambo' the first single from the forthcoming album 'Musicology' features the young upcoming singer/ rapper 'Sil3nce' who brings raw passion combined with fresh, honest rhythmic lyrics that are sure to move you and leave you feeling energised.
