Bay Area/Los Angeles - February 2007
Ever since Native Guns dropped the hammer on the hip-hop community with their explosive debut release Barrel Men, activists, gangsters, and music lovers alike have been licking shots to a new rhythm. The group, comprised of Kiwi and Bambu—two dynamic emcees raised by the harsh but politically-potent Los Angeles inner-city, and DJ Phatrick—notorious for reviving the East Bay hip-hop movement, has been fostering a cult following since 2002.
Now once again the Guns return with a fresh new batch of conscious-funny-political-introspective-outlandish goodies fresh out of the lab, this time with DJ Phatrick's expertise on the boards. In other words, it sounds MUCH better than Volume One!!! Not to mention special guests such as: Ise Lyfe, Blue Scholars, the PACIFICS, NUMP, Do D.A.T from the ATTIK, Nomi of Power Struggle, SKIM, and much more!!! Do NOT close that browser without copping this CD! Brrrrat!

good cd, better than the preview tracks

The preview tracks don\'t tell the whole story... there are some hot tracks on here that are left out...#5 and 6 come to mind.
if you like native guns or Bambu, you\'ll like this cd. you\'ll just have to sort through some good-but-not-great remix tracks and interludes to get to the real gems.

Always loved the Native Guns. This mixtape is tighter than Vol. 1. The beats are really tight and have some real head nodders. Love their remake of CREAM.

I love Native Guns, and this album is just as hot as Barrel Men - I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it! However it doesn't play in my CD player or my ipod! It's in some crazy format that only plays on itunes. :(
