notes
CD “Guitar Language” is released in 2007. in Croatia by Dallas Records (Zagreb) and is produced by best known Croatian producer Niksa Bratos (worked with Manu Katche, Tony Levin, Pino Palladino and others). CD blends pop-rock with blues & jazz, combining acoustic and electric guitars with other instruments (like violin, piano…) or voices. It contains 9 instrumental and one vocal track (Latin rock tune “Big Girl” featuring singer Ricardo Luque), assembling some of the best Croatian musicians together for this CD. It ranges from fast bluesy opening song “The Buzz”, pop oriented songs like “Remember” and “Secret” to jazzy track like “Same sky” and finishes with great playing in title song. To the contrast to other similar projects this CD is not only about fast playing guitar - instead it is more about great songs, soulful playing and melody.

Excellent Instrumental Rock CD
author: Xavier P. and the RadioIndy.com Team“Guitar Language” by Nebojsa Buhin Nebo is an impressive pop-rock/blues instrumental album. The musicianship on this CD is exceptional – powerful electric and acoustic guitars steal the limelight, backed by soothing drum arrangements. The pop-oriented “Remember Feat Marko Ramljak” stands out with its compelling lead guitar melody, beautiful violin accompaniments, and very epic climax. “Blues for You Feat Dimitar Božikov” assumes a softer, more soulful blues sound and carries a very vivid emotional life of its own. Moreover, the Latin-flavored “Big Girl Feat Ricardo Luque” is the only non-instrumental track on this CD, serving up some delightful vocals. Professional production finishes off this musically superior assembly. This CD is an excellent addition to the collection of any fan who enjoys rock guitar virtuoso music.
Diversity that I like!
author: Music Web Express 3000/Robert SilversteinCroatia might not be the first place to look for smokin' instrumental guitar fusion but that's just where you'll find the latest CD from Eastern European fretboard ace Nebo Buhin. Nebo's 2007 instrumental CD Guitar Language sounds influenced by guitar icons like Robben Ford and Larry Carlton and the CD sound veers between bluesy jazz-rock and a more accessible, upbeat instrumental sound. Commenting on his latest CD, Nebo adds, "Its a blend of pop, rock, blues, some jazzy and soundtrack tunes and is produced by Croatian producer Niksa Bratos who worked with Manu Katche, Pino Palladino, Tony Levin, etc... Guitar Language contains nine instrumentals and one vocal track that goes to some Santana-like sound. The CD opens with a fast blues-rock track and ends with a jazzy tune, so it is diversity that I like."
Croatians have soul!
author: OnlineRock/Kris LarsonWhen you think of Croatia, you don't immediately think of the blues. But listening to Croatian musician Nebojsa Buhin's third album Guitar Language I start to wonder why not. Because reading between the tracks, one sentence keeps popping up: Croatians have soul. Still, blues tend to make me feel bad before they make me feel better – they make me feel bad to make me feel better. Buhin's jazzy guitar riffs aren't like that: I skip the bad and go right to the better. There's something very positive about the shimming sounds of an electric guitar backed by congas and tambourines, and though the artist is Croatian, the music feels familiar. Give Guitar Language a try when you need a smooth little pick-me-up, a cheerful noise at the end of a hard day. Favorite Track: "Get Over It"

The third CD from this topnotch Croatian session guitarist - the results are ve
author: BLUES ARTThis is the third CD from this topnotch Croatian session guitarist who was born in 1971. No, don’t expect a million notes a minute, lots of flash and meaningless posturing. The ten tracks–all originals from the pen of Mr. Buhinare eclectic in style, ranging across blues, rock, jazz, pop, jazzfunk and soundtrack numbers, with Nebojsa’s clean, concise and melodic playing (mostly on electric, though he does play some acoustic) right out in front of an aggregation of equally talented accompanists. All bar one track–the Latin flavoured ‘Big Girl’ featuring vocalist Ricardo Luque–are instrumental, and the results are very impressive indeed. Norman Darwen
