In celebration of its 40th Anniversary Season, the Northwest Chamber Chorus releases its "Northwest Chamber Chorus Live!" double CD set with 24 tracks featuring many of the best live performances of the group over the past 20 years.

Established in 1968, the Northwest Chamber Chorus has long been recognized as one of the finest choruses in the Pacific Northwest. The 40-voice ensemble is critically acclaimed for its professional quality performances of the best classical choral music.

In its 40th year of bringing great choral music to audiences in the Puget Sound region, the Northwest Chamber Chorus continues to enjoy enthusiastic audiences and extensive support and praise from the arts community. During an annual season of seven performances and numerous community outreach appearances, the chorus attracts an audience of 2000 music patrons, characterized by a high level of education and a keen interest in cultural activities and choral music.

The group is featured regularly on KING FM’s Northwest Focus and KUOW's The Beat. The group offers three commercial CDs including the "Songs of the Americas", "Handel Coronation Anthems", and "Wassail!" CDs. The Northwest Chamber Chorus has performed with the Seattle Symphony, the Northwest Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Youth Symphony, Cascadia Brass, the Spectrum Dance Company, Philharmonia Northwest, Baroque Northwest and the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra as part of their annual Ellington Sacred Concert.
