Album Notes

The Necker Cube Volume One is a compilation created by La Rock Inc Records to spotlight hip-hop from another perspective. Alot of people have a stereotype that all rap sounds like the junk on mainstream radio. The artists on this collection represent the genre in a different light. Since the label is based out of Cleveland, the CD has several Ohio artists: MC Homeless (his latest CD was praised in Alternative Press), chrismick (who produced most of Homeless'CD) Johnny La Rock & Mush Mouth (who will be on the 2007 Van's Warped Tour), Subroc, Deaf By Arms, RMA, Mad Visuals, Prof. Falcon (who gained attention from French label e-french sound), and Johnny La Rock. Plus, there's also California's Ceschi (who you may have heard on the new Busdriver record on Epitaph), Texas' David Ramos, and PA's Amerikkkan Hostage (which features Davey from the Dreadnots). If you need a reason to fall in love with hip-hop again, this is the record to do it.
