ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is my solo CD,i play all the instruments and do all the singing, plus the recording.
1.The Border Reivers is about armed gangs raiding the Northumbrian Borders in days gone by.
2.The song 57 And Counting is about losing my job as a postman and seeing things in a different way.
3. Sail away ladies is an old song my dad used to play.
4.Songs 4 5 and 6 are meant to be heard as a Trilogy and go with a film i am making.
7.Weez Got The Hammer is set to an old Mexican folk tune and i sing the song in a Geordie twang, that is someone from Newcastle On Tyne.
8.Rubens Train is an old American song and i have added most of my own lyrics.
9.Blackberry Blossom And Turkey In The Straw are two American tunes and i add my own words.
10.The Seasons Are A Changing is about cold Winters in Macduff , Northeastern Scotland.
