Album Notes
Neill Bell is an independent singer/songwriter originally from North Carolina, but makes his home in Chicago. As a writer and musician, Neill always illustrates compelling personality, emotion, and ability. As a singer, Neill exhibits an obviously convincing enticement to his audience with strong passion. Over the course of his career, Neill has released 6 albums along with some singles all showing signs of growth and experimentation. He plays all the instruments, sings, and produces his albums. His influences range from core songwriters such as Ryan Adams, Neil Finn, and Jay Farrar to pioneers of rock-soul Otis Redding and Sam Cooke. There are also true mood resemblances of Adam Duritz and Damien Rice. This breeds a wide range of writing styles and sounds that keep things interesting and soulful. The emotion always seems to be the important element in his songs. It\'s off-the-beaten-path pop without all the drawbacks of the mainstream.
