Album Notes

Neil LoRe - BIO
Born in Brooklyn, in time for the British Invasion, Neil's first gig was in front of the family room mirror lip syncing to 'She Loves You' at 4 years old. Not long after, Neil picked up the piano, guitar, drums, and started singing. Neil began forming original bands and writing songs in his teens. Since then he's scored for film, received songwriting recognition from 'Billboard', performed with the likes of Brad Delp (Boston) & members of 'The Fools', opened for the Gene Clark (The Byrds) and Corey Glover (Living Colour), backed up 'The Del Vikings' and Louis Lyman, and performed live on radio. In '96 Neil released the CD 'One Life' to critical acclaim. Neil's latest release, 'Foreverywhere', includes 14 new songs & a trippy cover of the Beatles' 'Dear Prudence'. Neil's songwriting is warm and rich with emotion. Song themes are straight from the heart and deal with worldwide injustice, relationships, and spirituality.

CD Promotional Statement
'Foreverywhere', the latest offering from Award Winning Songwriter Neil LoRĂ©, features 15 new tracks ranging from enchanting Piano Ballads to edgy Art-Rock. The instrumentation varies from sparse guitar/piano tracks supporting the vocal to an all-out 'wall-of-sound', replete with lush harmonies, sweeping strings, and percussion. Neil produced and performed most of the material himself with guest appearances by Jodee Frawlee, Mike Gacek, Julie Liberatore, Joanna Sharp, and others. The CD includes 'Draw the line', a haunting piano ballad currently on the local charts, 'You know', a Billboard Songwriting Award-Winner, and 'Dear Prudence' a ferocious and compelling cover of the classic Beatles track.

CD Promotional Statement (NO HYPE):
"Foreverywhere" is the realization of a vision glimpsed in the mid 90's. I sensed it as songs began to present themselves to me one by one. My creative process is my religion; it is not for 'fun' but is deeply satisfying; the truth is that I must endure painful self-analysis, exorcism, and catharsis when writing. Some artists write music to ride the next big wave to super-stardom; I write because the songs claw their way out of me. If I don't make their existence worthy, I suffer the consequences. I look forward to hearing your reactions to the music. Enjoy...
