Neil T. Krebs has an "aversion to words"-lyrics if you will. He has, however, always had an affinity for instrumental music from medieval times onward: he writes in musical genres that interest him. That said,he is recreating this kind of music according to his tastes. Neil's music is not "stuffy" though. His sense of humor shows through in pieces like "Minuet for Oboe and Bassoon", and titles such as "First(And Last)Invention". He also has a great feel for sensitive piano, his first love, and that is evident in his piano touch in several numbers including "Final Adieu" and "Reflections 1". Neil grew up in a music loving family and was encouraged at an early age to follow his "muse." Classically trained on piano from age 6, he has always been fascinated by composition, orchestration and interplay of instrument sounds, and combines these on this, his debut CD. All pieces are performed by the composer. Thanks for listening......
