Neil sings every Saturday night at Friends Corner Bar. Neil stays busy allways if he's not doing a show he might be rehursing or writting lyrics or trying to come up with a new melody. By the way the best melody he has come up with yet is his lovely wife Melodie Rose Wyatt They've been married two years. Neil says they've the best two years of his life. Melodie also writes songs and is a wonderful singer herself. Country To The Bone has something for everyone. If you like country music that is traditional and tells stories about life you'll love this CD. There are patriotic songs, songs about love, songs about family and friends, and all the songs can be related to by anyone who has lived life in the real world. You will be struck by Neil's unique vocal sounds, mellow yet powerful and his writing has been said to be as strong as any writer out there. He says the message is everything and he refuses to dilute the story for the sake of not offending those in the industry who want everything to be vanilla. Grown up on a farm in Northeast Akansas, this country music singer is as true as the themes in his songs: "I Love You And I Hate You"(hey it reminds me so much of ("Murder On Music Row") "Honky Tonk Cowboy", My Dad (Captain Tom)" - All these songs are breathing real life ( and parts of his own life). He has a voice so warm you can imagine at a campfire as well as in a honkytonk or at a ranch party. "Thanks for the latest CDs that have arrived on my desk(Neil Wyatt/ Mid Autumn Compilation and Lyle Sinclare) top knoch country music, but this time I can't stay away from praise of the artist NEIL WYATT, as in my world of country music is is one of the best artists I have received for years. I do not usually write reviews or other kind of appreciations about the artists because I personally feel that those people that reveiw the music, are absolutely without any value for the population. The people do'nt need to be told what they should like and not like, what is good and what is not. It's Personal opinion. But I would personally would like to mention my opinion about the Artist Neil Wyatt and his music. NEIL WYATT AND HIS CD COUNTRY TO THE BONE Todays country music has changed much since I began listening to it more than fifty years ago. Neil Wyatt is an artist that has been able to escape the rape of country music, and when his songs fill the room, he is able to awake the true country music feeling that once flowed over those songs. Neil really impressed me. His lyrics are something special and a song like Honky Tonk Cowboy will be able to awake every single country music fan by the old school including me. The music treated well is able to wear a song which Neil has proven by the songs on this CD. They will spin on my forthcoming shows and be able to show the listening audience the enormouse difference there is between todays country and the pure honest and true country music.     Neil Wyatt sings and writes about life. His life included scratching out a living on an Arkansas farm, picking cotton and driving a truck at the age of twelve. Young Neil experienced a real culture shock when his family was forced to live in the city. All this is brought to bear in Neil's music, particularly on Country TO The Bone (Comstock). And that is what Neil is, country to the bone, on ten originals that include Honky Tonk Cowboy, I Love You And I Hate You, the Two stepping prideful title track, and the ghostly A Visit To The Wall. I have played it around at my friends for the benefit of some other people I know who are country to the bone and like me they were impressed.
