Bailemos Merengue (and other rhythms of the Caribbean) is Caribbean singer-song writer nelson Gill latest cd release. Written exclusively in Spanish utilizing various infectious Caribbean rhythms such as; Merengue, Soca, Punta and Reggae, while at the same time exploring various important concepts for children and their families such as language arts, friendship and self esteem, as well as fine and gross motor development through songs and games.

Nelson Gill is a multiple award winner recording artist who travels across the United States and Central America performing for children and their families. His awards includes winner of the “Chicago Caribbean Music Award”, “Director’s Choice Award” and “Entertainer of the Year” .

Gill, born in Belize Central America and raised in Guatemala, is trilingual (he speaks Spanish, English and Creole fluently) and holds an Associate Degree in music, a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Literature and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
