Album Notes

Nelson Hinds is a talented instrumentalist, composer and arranger. He has toured with the Woody Herman Band and later with the Chuck Mangione Orchestra. In 1999, he was a featured soloist with the Terrance Blanchard Quintet at the Telluride Jazz Festival. Nelson is featured on several recent albums with Chris Daniels, Garner Pruitt, the group Rasputin with Dave Hidalgo and a soon to be released album by Ethan Mesple. Playing with Nelson are a very talented group of players: Peter Sommer on tenor sax, Brad Goode on trumpet, John Gunther on tenor sax, Bob Rebholz on flute and tenor sax, Eric Gunnison on piano, Ron Bland on bass, Paul Romaine on drums and Todd Reid on drums.
