Album Notes
Jonathan Nelson (Guitarist, songwriter, producer) is a native Californian living in West Los Angeles. He is
formerly guitarist with Suicidal Tendencies (1983), Red
Hot Chilipeppers (1985), The Brood (1986-87), Shrapnel (1989-90), and has backed up many artists
such as the late great Jackie Lee "Walkeen" Cockran and has produced hardcore bands on his own label
such as Nieghborhood Watch and No Mercy in the early
to mid eighties. Now a devoted Christian he tries to put
forth some great music with a geat message with his
latest solo project. More releases to come this year on
other labels with other producers in order to grow in the
craft and offer more veriety.

More than worth the price of the CD
I decided to give NARROW INTERCESSION a hearing after learning that singer/guitarist Jonathan Nelson had played with such metal innovators as Suicidal Tendencies and the Brood (big fav's from my teen years). These guys have produced what has become one of the most spun discs in my CD player in some time. This is innovative, original, virtuosic stuff. NARROW INTERCESSION takes rock, metal, and hardcore influences, melding them all into a sound that is uniquely their own. If you like bluesy classic rock...if you like Sabbath-style metal...if you like old school metalcore/harcore (a la Suicidal, No Mercy, Beowulf, Crumbsuckers), you are going to love NARROW INTERCESSION.

These guys are committed Christians and the lyrics center around Christian-based spiritual themes. But if you aren't a Christian, don't let that put you off. The musical merits of this band stand on their own. NARROW INTERCESSION deserves your attention.
