Album Notes

Album releases in 2008.

One time, an entertainment director and trusted friend told me I am a “visual thinker”.
And perhaps there is something to that idea. When I make an album, I can see a film , a story that goes along with it. E L E Zero Point is just such an idea. An E. L. E. an “existence level event” and how humanity might react to that when it is upon us. In a very real sense, as long as we are members of “existence” then we experience the event all our lives, don’t we?

Lately I just can't help myself - I have been treating my recent albums as though they were like a kind of movie- or story. And so here comes another Feldspar II The Great Outdoors, which is being released at I write this (Fall 2008). This album does contain a couple vocal works, and plenty of guitar sounds as well.

I have tried to make albums dictated by a certain “style”, and although it may make catagorizing the work somewhat less challenging, I feel I may risk a few musical concessions by doing so. The Essential Robin Hood Lanes is njmp studios’ first production originally recorded in 2007 is just such a work. You could call this organ/keyboard based work “futuristic blue organ jazz” but am I just taking my chances by calling it whatever? It is a mostly upbeat and positive instrumental album.
