Neodrone is a music project conceived and brought to life by composer/keyboardist Magnus Tak, resulting in an ingeniously crafted fusion of ambient, classical and electronica.
On debut album "Extended Horizon", gorgeous melodies are perfectly complemented by the extraordinary vocal talents of Johanna E. Martell, classically trained at "Operastudio 67" and "The Academy of Music and Drama" in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The CD introduces breathtaking original compositions, as well as exhilarating adaptations of classic arias "Lascia Ch'io Pianga", from the opera "Rinaldo" by G.F. Händel and "Vengeance Aria" based on excerpts from the "Queen of the Night" aria by W.A. Mozart.
All english lyrics are written by Brent Swarthout.
The music has ethereal qualities aptly categorized as "cinematic" or "filmic". The "Solar Storm" track has been featured in a futuristic theatrical score of "Romeo and Juliet", and fresh, updated versions of this and previous demo "Aurora Borealis" accentuate "Extended Horizon" to be "out of this world" !

“Vocally, I feel this is a stronger version of the aria than Brightman's”

“Extended Horizon the debut CD from Sweden´s Neodrone is one of the definitive “must-have” electronica albums of 2007”

---------------
“At its best, the electronic orchestrations and classical vocals play off each other perfectly, creating a blend that seems to extend the worlds of electronica and classical music both.”
