Since his number one hit “Sensi Crisis” in the 80’s Nereus Joseph has established himself as One of the stalwart’s of the UK Reggae Scene always maintaining a consistent conscious message over the years.

His Highly Acclaimed new Album “Real Rebels Cant Die” (SIRIUS RECORDS) recorded in house at Sirius Recording Studio in the heart of East London with producer Kenny Edgehill is being touted as one of the best albums of the year so far (Amazon).
A Tuff Roots set this album sends out a positive message to all lovers of Quality Roots Reggae, with sixteen tracks, kicking off with the title track “Real Rebels Cant Die” currently on rotation on US radio, to the heavy weight sound of “Fundamental Principles Of Life. Pure uncompromising Roots” Songs like “Kultural Herb” “Grounded”, “Ancient Monarchy” and the lead single “Africa for Africans” for which a video has been shot have to be also highlighted along with “One love Tonite,” “Make A Stand” & the beautiful acoustic “Send Them A message” fully showcasing the quality of his vocals & songs.
Combinations with Dub poet Benjamin Zephania on the huge “Shield & Armour” Veteran Dj Dennis Alcapone features to great effect on “No Peace” while upcoming sing jay jah Mirikles takes the stage on “Rastafari Lives” showing his potential, as well as appearances from Selah Collins & Afrikan Simba sealing up the immense “Warn Them”.
This set is packed with solid songs musicians Mafia & Fluxy, Ruff Cutt Band members Carlton “Bubblers” Ogilvie, (Organ & Piano) Tony Phillips (Guitar), Kenton “Fish” Brown (Bass) all play their part in making this album a truly outstanding effort.
