Album Notes

Sound is born in physics. Music is born in the mind.

Overload uses sound to play the mind. Not just manipulating time and frequency for effects, Overload is composition wedded to Neurosensory Algorithms, the math behind the mind. NeuroPop creates emotional soundtracks, journeys through mental states, different for each individual, yet evocative of our common neural auditory heritage. The three 20 minute movements will take you on different paths, but the endpoint will come from your own mental instrument. One hour of the most mind-altering music on the planet.

WARNING: PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU LISTEN TO THIS MUSIC

Do NOT attempt to listen to this music if you are hopped up on caffiene or still jittering from it earlier. In my experiences, it will intensify the effects in a very unpleasent manner. Especially the song Eros, it felt like my heart was a jackhammer. Probably the same goes with alcohol or recreational drugs or worse. I am not about to find out. You have been warned. It is an amazing & beautiful album and the effects on the brain is very real to give the claimed sensations. It works. So awesome!

Wonderful CD, best on good headphones, great on a good stereo. Interesting blend of the science and Brian Eno-esque synth work. Very visual music, I hope to hear more in the future. An absolute must buy for those into ambient music like Eno's Music for films, Apollo, etc. By all means, support this artist. -Matt O'Brien, Detroit
