Album Notes

NEVERSAY

Marc Grover: Lead Vocals, Guitars,
Mick Michelbach: Guitars,
Tim Rossetti: Drums,
Joey T: Bass

Produced, Recorded and Mixed by Peter Amato and Jess Sutcliffe

An album that is potent, riff-ready, and powerful, but still catchy and commercial enough for radio airplay. And yet, it still begs to be played from top to bottom in your car.
There is something here for everyone. Heavy guitars, catchy hooks, solid playing......rock music that returns the genre to its rightful place - just Neversay there will never be an album full of great songs again.
With powerful production that makes the music jump out of the speakers and then grabs you by the collar and pulls you back in, this is a CD full of songs (remember those !) emotions, power, dynamics, and subtlety.
This is a BAND to reckon with.... a singer that gives you everything he's got; guitars that interplay in a way that recall the best of the best; and a rhythm section that reminds you of the power of Bonham and Jones. Neversay's first CD should be one that you play and play and play, until you just can't wait for their next one.

O FACE RECORDS

NEVERSAY
"Featuring songs in the style of Nickleback and Foo Fighters, with a healthy dose of Def Leppard thrown in for good measure, this CD already has started rumblings inside the independent label world.....mainly because the collection of songs are all quality crafted, radio friendly, hook filled rock tracks, that make you remember the days when albums consisted of more than one radio song and nine filler tracks. This is the one to look out for"
Rich Solomon - Indie Weekly

NEVERSAY
"A great rock record and powerful first release. Strong hooks and sonically dominant. This band can really play".
Elliot Scheiner - 5 time Grammy winning producer/engineer: Steely Dan, Eagles, Aerosmith, Toto, REM

NEVERSAY
"With a voice like smooth thick molasses the singer starts it off easy and clean. Then the guitars kick in and you really have no choice but to start shaking it along to the beat. Vocals are top notch. Whether he is singing slowly or belting it out he does it all with style and feeling. Good tunes, excellent rock melodies. And lest I forget, the drums and bass are mighty fine. Excellent. Play it again, Band."

"Beautiful male vocals, reminds me of STP's & Trent Reznor. Nice heavy rock transistions. Male vocals also remind me Chris Cornell. Nice overall production. Harmonies are a nice surprise."

"Good vocalist, very wide range. The songs have radio potential. On the lead off track, "I Never Thought" the way the drums came out of the intro into the song was awesome. Lyrics were original. Vocals had a GREAT sound to them - that's not something u find in many bands. Guitar was kewl. This rocks .....nothin to say but rock on!"

"Great sounds. Perfect production, you must have spent a lot of money on this one.
I have to buy the CD. You are going to go far in the business"

"Vocals are excellent. Reminds me of Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots. Songs have nice dynamics, Harmonies are excellent"

"I can hear this on the radio someday. ....the production and quality of musicianship make it worth a listen. Great ."

On 'I Never Thought', "the drums are punchy! I was pleasantly surprised when they came in. "Violent sea of lies..." - interesting lyrical content. The overall mix is very good, with a prominent bass line and crunchy guitars that never interfere with the lead vocal. The subtle backing vocals and guitar stabs that support the vocal in the chorus are fabulous. I can't identify particularly what I like about the lead vocal, but it's great as well. The arrangement was appropriate; the song seemed to flow well without ever boring me."
