Born in 1980, Joseph’s early
training began in Lincoln where he
performed and studied Classical
Guitar with his teachers Rob Johns
and Graham Tacon.
Joseph went on to study for a
Bachelor of Music at the Birmingham
Conservatoire under the instruction
of two renowned concert guitarists,
Simon Dinnigan and Mark Ashford.
He spent four years in Birmingham
and qualified with Honours.
During his training Joseph was
successful in winning a number of
classical guitar competitions including
the Lincolnshire Music Festival 1998,
and later the Classical Guitar Prize at
the Birmingham Conservatoire.
In 2003 Joseph performed and
recorded Mauro Giuliani’s
concerto in A major, for guitar
and string quartet.
Joseph has performed solo in a
number of national venues including
the CBSO Centre Birmingham and
the Royal Albert Hall London.
He continues to perform in venues
across the UK.
Joseph plays a Christopher Dean
guitar made in Oxfordshire 2002
