The CD is a compilation of cover songs that reflect the band’s eclectic style, ranging from beach music, to classic rock, R & B, & blues.
“We wanted to capture the variety, energy and fun of our live performances” says Billy Mitchell, the band’s front man, “The Narragansett Café is an institution for live music with a great crowd, so what better place to record? ”
Since 1995 the band has played local venues like The Narragansett Cafe in Jamestown, RI; regionally, Dick's Last Resort in Boston and The House of Blues on Sunset Strip in L.A. Also commercials and many special events.
Band members are veteran performers of over 20 years. Billy Mitchell, (vocals, guitar, and harp) and Pat Smith (vocals, rhythm) sang with the a capella group, The Hudsons: David Furlong, (vocals, lead guitar) and Andy Webb (vocal, bass) were formerly with Three Legged Horse: John Lombardi (sax) and John Brough (drums) have been playing for years as well.
The 16 track CD was recorded by Scredco Productions of East Providence and produced by Daffy Dock Publishing in West Kingston. The band has previously released two CDs - “Only Time for One Take” and “Gumbo Beach”.
