Album Notes

We must be the oldest garage band still alive. We first formed the band "THE NEXT OF KIN" in 1975, in Nashville Tn. All four of us (except Terry Coyle, the drummer on this cd came from Arkansas) went to the same school, and three of us have played together since the start of the band. Tim and Frankie Thrower are brothers and play guitars,and vocals. Cliff Myers grew up across the street and plays bass, Joe Reese grew up down the street and plays drums. Joe joined the band about 3 years ago when Terry Coyle, our original drummer from the beginning, moved out of town. Terry is the drummer on the first CD.Terry also engineered this CD and recorded it in his studio in Kingston Springs Tn. Joe will be featured on our next CD due out soon. We play our own style of americana rock we call "Nok Rok".We have played with some Nashville stars such as, Patty Loveless, Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe,and several more.
