And, Compton's music does just that- it flows. The music comes across mellow and uncomplicated, yet the lyrics become deceptively wise when discussing matters of the heart. With easy Caribean flavored percussion setting the course and South Pacific strings filling the sails, Compton's sun soaked voice and everyman lyrics takes the listener on a journey from heaven to heartache and back to heaven once again.
