“These tours make the going great!” –State Senator Ken Jacobsen, 46th District, Seattle

“Washington State is a land of great beauty and history. There is no better way to understand this than to see and be part of that historic legacy. The Washington Heritage Tour Series offers you that opportunity. You are given the chance to visit tribal communities, take part in local community celebrations, and gain a greater understanding of who we are and how we got here.
I applaud those who put this excellent program together and call on all Washingtonians and people visiting from outside this state to take advantage of this great opportunity. Celebrate the present by connecting with the past.” -Sam Reed, Secretary of State

REVIEWS

great cd set
author: Ms. H. Carson
I have to reply to Lisa Mitchell's review. Its hardly a "very local" production. This is a beautiful set and well made sits easily on my shelf! The insert in question has fewer than six track additions... apparently she couldn't count.:) I'd hate for anyone to have taken her review seriously this is a wonderful gift and it is well made! Thank you!

Gift for Dad
author: Lisa Mitchell
I heard about this CD through an article in my local newspaper and thought it would be a neat retirement gift for my dad, who's been warning me he's going to be driving "over the mountains" more often to see his granddaughter. I looked through the CD set, it seems to be a pretty thorough history lesson, and I hope he likes it. One thing I'll mention is that this CD set is a very LOCAL production, so there is a piece of paper that comes with it that lists all the information the producers neglected to fix. For example, there are nearly a half dozen tracks missing from the index list. Can't their proofreaders count? Or should I send my resume in? Anyway, it seemed cool and I hope it sounds OK.
