As a child in the Virgin Islands, Macarldie performed religious music with his father and sisters. His teenage years found him in nightclubs and hotels peforming the island standards and top 40 hits of the Caribbean and America. After moving to the States, he studied Jazz piano at Florida Atlantic University and began performing all over Florida and Islands. Over the years, Macarldie has put together numerous bands of talented Funk Blues, Jazz, Calypso, Soca and Reggae musicians. "He has metamorphasized the souls of the islands into a universal vibe of happiness through music". >> I felt like I was back in the islands
