Album Notes

Philadelphia, PA. (U.S.A): Straight from Philly comes NICETOWN - a Philly super group of sorts -- consisting of popular emcee Dark (aka Mr. Jenkins), producer Miz, and renowned 18-year old singer Josephine Sincere (whose 3 critically acclaimed CDs are available here).

The formation of the group NICETOWN occurred naturally; Josephine Sincere often performs with Mr. Jenkins and Miz, and Mr. Jenkins is even featured on her monster single "Jane" (he is also featured in the "Jane" music video which can be peeped here: www.kixxrecords.com). Hailing from the Nicetown section of North Philly, vets Mr. Jenkins and Miz helped the then-16-year-old Josephine Sincere develop as an artist on the stage. The rest is history.

Nicetown has been called "The Philly Fugees" by one music critic, and the single "A Better Life" (featuring the incredible vocals of Philly's diva, Valerie Morman, is extremely powerful!

Songs to check for: "I Think Not (Nicetown Anthem)," "Squad Up!," "A Better Life," "Ghetto Lyfe, " and "jane- Part 2."
