This is the pre-production cast recording of the songs from Nicholas Nickleby – The Musical, based on Dickens’ “The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby”. Music, lyrics and libretto by Tim Brewster.

The cast includes both professional and amateur performers, who came together specially to produce this reference recording of the songs. As well as allowing people to hear the music, the album is also intended to help people get the feel of the show, and to learn the singing parts for production.
