We've all heard the Cinderella stories of musicians leaving their little hometowns for the big city and becoming rock stars overnight. This isn't one of them.
Shortly after this singer/songwriter from Raytown Missouri packed up his guitars and moved to L.A., he got songs in feature movies like Burden of Proof and he placed in the Top 10 of Fox TV's Best Unsigned Band Contest out of 6,000 entries.
Despite a humble start, Greg's self-released debut CD "Can You Hear It?" was named as "One of the 10 Best Albums of 1996" by Entertainment Today, putting next to the likes of Alanis Morrisette and Joan Osborne.
His new CD, "The High Trapeze", is a breathtaking collection of 12 new songs that pound, pulse, and jump out of your speakers and right into your heart. From the huge wall of guitars and irresistible groove of "You've Got a Way" to the dreamy and atmospheric cool of "Grace", The High Trapeze is a pop masterpiece.
ECE Worldwide got a sneak preview of the new CD and wrote "...genius...across-the-board pop perfection...he has the kind of voice that women want to hear and men want to have...very unique, sexy, and passionate...this is a star in the making."

This is the best music ever to be recorded!!!
author: Jenna
This album is the best I have ever heard. I like it so much that it got stolen along with my other music when my car was robbed, but plan to buy it again just because it's so great. The songs are fun and original. These are the kinds of songs that make moments in your life. The song that you shared that first kiss to, the awesome tune that reminds you of yourself. This is the cd that completes any collection!

I have had this CD since it came out and it was the first thing on my Ipod. If you have't heard this CD go Back to the front page and buy it now. It's a must have. recently Bob Dylan made comments on todays music and how manipulated it is. High Trapezee makes you feel like you are listening to Greg at the Whisky on a Friday night. Go get it now!!!!

The perfect feel good album.

“The High Trapeze” is the perfect feel good album. Greg Nicholson’s gentle, melodic voice is beautiful. Once you hear the song “Ultra Fine”, you’ll find yourself humming it without even realizing it. It is such a lovely song, it will bring a smile to your face. I highly recommend this album to anyone who wants to add passionate music to their collection!

The best of the best in music

This music has what all music should have:passion! It can be beautiful, melodic, and yet upbeat and catchy the next minute. It is one of the best examples of self-expression and artistry I have ever come across, and I love it! You can truly feel his love of creating reflecting through his music.
