This "darker side" disc is a little more violent and sophisticated than Nicholas would recommend for chidren or indiscriminate family listening. However he hastens to say that you will not find any kind of bad language on the recording.

Album Notes

The power of words to conjure images of heroism, obsticals, the cost of foolishness, obsession, suprise, and the justice of fate can be witnessed in this new recording by Nicholas the Storyteller. He is a master of characterizing human strengths and the flaws that make stories interesting. Nicholas tells his tales to people of all ages and levels of sophistication. However, in this album he is playing to the darker side of human nature, often with a moral lesson but never a sermon.
His voice can reflect the witlessness of one blinded by desire and the resol;ve of another who is too wise to argue with cowards and fools. From his wide experience of telling tales in the most unusual venues, to audiences of serious art lovers to distractable fun seekers he has learned how to grasp the attention of an audience and show them that storytelling is not a lost art. The challenge Nicholas faces is to get you to listen long enough to be caught up in the drama.
Although this recording has violencew and implication of adult activity, the languae is always respectable. However, Nicholas recomends that you listen first before turning it over to the youngsters.
