The bassist by trade can be seen performing with many artists such as Europe's hard rock queen Doro Pesch, ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley's band "Blaze" and New York's Mike Rocket.
"Through The Pane" marks as being Nick's first official solo effort recorded almost entirely by himself. "Through The Pane", although not considered to be metal album, is a multi-influenced twelve song statement with a freedom and obscurity that an independent effort could offer. From rockers to ballads, technical to organic.
The first track, "You're A Miracle" was featured on ABC's daytime soap "All My Children".

5 Stars all the way for Nick!!!
Nick is the greatest down to earth person, writer, & performer in the past 20 years that I have ever had the privilege to meet. I wish I were able to hear more of Nick Douglas on the radio & especially in the U.S.A.
Even though he is a Bassist by trade, he has the greatest, calming, and very easy listening voice to grab every audience. I am very surprised that Nick is not bigger than he is right now.
Nick, hope to see you soon!

A Great Album By A Great Musician
author: Ronald Wilshusen
Having met Nick at a Doro show last year,I was really interested to hear his solo effort.I was not dissappointed at all. This is a very good record.Nick shows what a talented songwriter/musician he is.I recommend this record to anyone who likes good melodies and great musicianship! This record is nothing like the metal he plays with Doro, which I Love, but it is a great Pop/Rock record.
