ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nick Edelstein is a Blues-Rock artist based in Atlanta, GA. His second album, “Live In 2007” boasts a lineup including drummer John Bell, who played for Stax Records from 1969-‘75 and toured with Isaac Hayes, William Bell and Booker T. & The MG’s. Also on the album is Andy Margolis (bass/vocals).

Recorded at various notable venues around the Southeast, including Pucketts Farm (Charlotte), The Crimson Moon (Dahlonega), and WUGA-FM (NPR in Athens, GA). Released at the venerable Smiths Olde Bar in Atlanta - Edelstein's hometown - this album celebrates a year filled with radio spots, endorsements, and festival showcases. The first DPD ("online-only") album from this hot young artist!

"Live In 2007" has received acclaim from regional press critics and many Industry voices. Showcasing Nick's catchy hooks and rocking grooves, "Live" is a snapshot of the 2007 tour. Based out of Atlanta, GA, Nick has performed over 1,000 concerts in 21 US States. He is endorsed by Holland Guitars, First Act Guitars and KOA.

Southeast Performer Magazine wrote:
"a terrific ride through the world of blues... Nick's handywork on lead guitar is impeccably precise, as each live song spills with fervent balance, delivering punchy lead solos galore ... Edelstein also shows his intimate side with soft-spoken material on endearing originals Sign From Above - flawlessly recorded - and Ripple ... Crossroads churns the album from the start, launching the album's fiery energy and tenacity from the get-go ... breathtaking guitar work, and his voice suits the blues man, with performances of liquid gold, compared to the swift speed of a dozen horses at Churchill Downs, as notes flourish like a roaring freight train ... Santana's artistry comes to fruition in a frighteningly well-spoken version of Europa."

Great live band!
"It's rare that an artist who's never played here before packs the house on their first night. Nick and his band have such great energy on stage that we've had them back on a regular basis for the past 2 years. We even book them for New Years Eve. Great live band!"
