Thanks for listening. These songs are stories about my local area, which can be related to many places across the world, and people's situations. From heavier songs such as 'Soldiers Avenue', to lighter, upbeat songs like 'Horizon Bar'. Happy listening!

Album Notes

Soldiers Avenue. A song about an Australian 'Digger', a 'Rat of Tobruk', who went to war, and lived in Harbord.. my home town. Told from the Grandson's view, who never met him. These soldiers' names are immortalized on plaques up and down Soldiers Avenue. My Street, a song about coming back from life's trials and tribulations, and turning it all around, busking on The Corso (Manly, NSW), and being free. Wonderland, about my local surf scene and culture. About a guy who was the best surfer of them all, who was caught up in drugs and booze, though very charismatic. She Runs Alone, about a girl i used to see running with a dog, but she never looked up when i ran past. Damn.. she was a stunner! Horizon bar, about a seat/bench overlooking the Tasman Sea. A place where you go to realise how insignificant we are by looking at the massive world. ..."relax, loose a load...", ill let you use your imagination! Ella-Jane, about remembering a beautiful girl i met in high school. Her name written in concrete. Past tense then current times... fond memories. I hope you all enjoy. Best, Nick
