ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nick Lancaster is a guitarist and composer based out of New York City. Originally from Houston, Texas, he grew up listening to and learning country and southern rock songs. Although his playing is deeply rooted in country music, he is also heavily influenced by jazz, rock, and blues. His debut album, "Tunes", showcases this merger of styles with ten original compositions that demonstrate his highly melodic composing and improvising style.

Nick is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he studied jazz composition and guitar performance. He attended graduate school at Texas State University where he received his M.M. in classical guitar performance.
