50 Cent’s G-Unit Producer Nick Speed & Black Star Entertainment partner with MMA Big Show for New Title Song For New Reality Show

July 14th, 2009 Cecil Cosey of Black Star Entertainment and Jason Appleton of MMA Big Show join forces to produce a star studded title track for a new MMA Reality Series, “MMA Big Shot”.

The MMA Big Show, founded in 2006 by Owner/President Jason Appleton who originally came from the music business where he launched a band from the garage to MTV2, VH1, Much Music and over 35 other national video networks as well as the Top 200 radio charts in under 8 months not to mention live national performances on networks such as the G4 Network. Appleton knows the music industry as well as how to promote the sport of Mixed Martial Arts where has been developing talented up and comers now reaching the national spotlight such as Roger Bowling, Mojo Horne and others.

Cecil Cosey, founder of Black Star Entertainment in 1999 in Detroit, MI where he grew up with a great ear for music and being right in the middle of Motown (where it all started), Cecil found his way into working relationships with known celebrities such as Fat Joe, Mario Winas, Gucci Mane, Cat Williams, The Dream, Jason Appleton, Philadelphia Freeway and many others.

“Cecil called me up one day wanting to know if we could work together on a project and that he has been following the MMA Big Show for a while. He loved Roger Bowling and Mojo Horne and wanted to do something to get involved.” Explains Appleton. “Apparently Ken Pavia and Nate over at MMA Agents tipped Cecil off about me a while back. We’ve had an ongoing relationship for a while and have done good things together so this was a nice compliment from them to think about me.”

The Song: Fists Of Fury

Produced by G-Unit Producer Nick Speed out of Detroit, the song Fists Of Fury will be the title song for the reality show in the works by Jason Appleton, Leon Montgomery and Lalo Reyes and will be called “MMA Big Shot”. Fists Of Fury is available for streaming at www.mmabigshow.com and is available as a Ring Tone, Single MP3 for Purchase on CDBaby.com and soon will be available anywhere music is sold.

Introducing Roy Black

THE BEGINNING
Roy black started performing in 1995 when he co-founded a young rap group UNTAMED which is known locally now as U.T.C. During his stint in the group he produced all of the music and along with the group help form the aggressive street style that the group is known for today.

Roy Black is now one of Detroit's best unsigned producers working with local artist John Drama,Seven the General, Strecth Money, Finale, Nickspeed, and a host of Detroit's best local artist.

THE FUTURE
Roy Black's goal is to become one of the industries hottest Producer/Artist and to revive Detroit's music to rival it's glory with the MOTOWN era. Roy black has a second album coming with his group U.T.C. and a solo mixtape and album coming out in the fall and winter of 2009.
